Sam and Kristina are warm and friendly folks! Baking up some amazing pastries. Today was their opening day, got there later than I wanted and I missed out but did snag an iced latte with oat milk! I plan on returning asap!

I absolutely love this Swedish spot. The staff are genuinely some of the friendliest people, and the baked goods are always creative, beautiful, and rotating — I have the hardest time choosing (even though I usually end up getting half the menu anyway). You can really feel how much time, care, and detail goes into everything they make. It’s also tiny and adorable, which just adds to the charm.

So excited to come back! Thanks Sam and Stina for the amazing bowl, toast, lemonade & coffee. Cheers to more successful years of Fika to come!

Loved this new spot in Saco. The owners are friendly and the food and drinks are perfectly refreshing. We got multiple pastries to try and their refreshing berry lemonade. I love that they use oat milk, as that is what I drink in my lattes all the time. This will absolutely be a spot for us to go too on the days off. They do run out, so get there early.

Fika is a delicious Scandinavian bakery run by a former chef of the now closed bakery and cafe Jackrabbit. Their pastries are delicious and they frequently change up their offerings. Favorite pastries are the semlas and cardamon buns. They sell out of pastries early on a busy day. They also serve delicious biscuit sandwiches. I go frequently, the downside is the bakery is a little shack and there is limited seating (outside only), making it more of a pick up and go kind of place.

Fika is a hidden Swedish gem in Saco, Maine! We ordered a cappuccino, iced latte, the Kanelbullar and Kardemummabullar pastries. The Kardemummabullar is so fresh and delish with a hint of cardamom. The Kanelbullar was also just as good and fresh! We got there on the earlier side since there was a line by the time we left. The coffee was really great and a perfect pairing with the pastries. We sat outside at the picnic table with our puppy and it was a nice spot for a quick fika.

This place is my favorite place for pastries in Maine. 💖✨️😍 I ordered the Blueberry scones, Strawberry pop tart, Coconut cream Danish with toasted coconut and the Coconut yogurt with granola and fresh berries. EVERYTHING was DELICIOUS❣️❣️ I wish I had found this place on Thursday instead of Sunday. I would've been there everyday for four days straight...🤭🤤😋😍

People throw around 5 star reviews these days like it ain’t no thing and I get it, anything less than a 5 is a fail in this modern world but Fika deserves the 5/5. Biscuit sandwich: biscuit is the perfect flavor and texture, rich but not claggy. The toast is sweet savory and just the right amount of salty with textures that come together delightfully, nothing falls apart when you eat it either. Gorgeous food. Great latte too.

We stopped by Fika on the way home after a weekend in Maine, and had a wonderful experience. The breakfast sandwich was phenomenal, I loved the biscuit especially. Every pastry we had was also excellent, and I’m going to be craving that cardamom knot for a while I think. As other reviews mention, it’s a solid wait time and on a hot summer day there’s not much in the way of shade so bring sunscreen. That said, I had a nice chat with the person behind me in line while we waited, and once we got the counter the service was quick and very friendly. It was worth the wait for sure. Will absolutely come back the next time we find ourselves up this way.

I always stop by when I get a chance. The baked goods are wonderful, definitely try their focaccia and Norwegian toast. Highly recommend!
